AAU Racing - Racecar Project
About The AAU Racing Team
AAU Racing creates better engineers making racecars! In their part time they design, manufacture, and assemble racecars, where they are currently taking on the task of making the 10th generation racecar (G10).
G10 is going to be an all-electric racecar, with a battery pack designed by the AAU Racing Team. This challenge of designing and building a racecar like this, pushes the boundaries of the team and gives valuable hands-on experience practicing the “art of engineering”.
The AAU Racing Team compete in Formula Student competitions in Europe, with the team consisting of students from different fields of engineering.
The AAU Racing Team
The AAU Racing team has partnered with Altoo, helping them understand their racecar by giving access to world class measurement devices, as well as regenerative power supplies.
This lets them test their motor and inverter setup, as well as testing battery packs under charging, but most importantly discharging. Making sure that when the components are in the car the system will succeed!
